User's notes

I thought it was a twig caught on spider web ... until it moved. I looked up images of Phasmids but couldn't see this one. It's the bifurcated eye stalks that intrigue me.

the bifurcated stalk are the cerci, which in this species are distinctive. They are sensory organs measuring air currents and vibrations. The head is 2/3 up the other direction, with a pair of legs stuck out in front
